Meadowlark 1939
Meadowlark 1939 has a special place in my heart as a wedding photographer. I’ve photographed several small weddings here, and they’re incredibly intentional and elegant. This luxury wedding venue was originally a family estate. It includes beautiful space for getting ready in the Ingram House, a renovated farmhouse. There are also multiple ceremony locations throughout the extensive grounds.
Meadowlark 1939 has English garden vibes, and it’s an ideal venue for a couple who wants to incorporate plenty of florals. A 150-year-old pecan tree provides a perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony or a plein air meal. It’s picturesque when strung with lights or decorated with flowers. The gardens have tucked away spots for beautiful and artistic portraits.
Montaluce Winery
It’s no secret that this wedding photographer loves to pop champagne! A good champagne photo is one of my favorites to do with clients. Montaluce Winery is a luxury wedding venue that keeps glasses and plates full of delights. Montaluce really is Georgia’s own taste of Tuscany.
The gourmet Italian fare and amazing wine aren’t the only reasons to have a wedding at Montaluce Winery, though. This gorgeous venue has a quintessentially Italian feel. It is located in scenic Dahlonega in North Georgia. The mountains stretch out beyond the wineries grounds, adding a little ruggedness to the refined venue.
Atlanta History Center
If you’re looking for a historic luxury wedding venue in Atlanta, check out the Atlanta History Center. The center hosts weddings at various locations, but the most popular is the Swan House Gardens. The Swan House is an extravagant venue with beautiful architecture and gardens that make a stunning backdrop for weddings. Ceremonies take place at the foot of the steps leading up to the historic mansion. The gray stone and green lawns make you feel like you’ve been transported to Europe.
This luxury wedding venue can accommodate large groups, but it’s just as lovely for an elopement or micro wedding. The Swan House has ample locations for romantic portraits too. It’s a fitting venue for a grand but tasteful event.
Inn at Serenbe
The Inn at Serenbe is located in a perfectly peaceful spot outside of Atlanta. Of all the luxury venues on this list, it offers the most inclusive experience. Guests can stay on site in one of their 28 guest rooms. This inn is a little different from a typical hotel because it encompasses cottages and guest houses spread out throughout its grounds. It gives a feeling of privacy that is especially charming for elopements and micro weddings.
At the Inn at Serenbe, weddings can take place outdoors. The grounds include rolling meadows and trees. There are so many amazing locations for portraits with a traditionally Southern feel. The woods around the inn have an enchanted forest vibe that really is captivating in any season. Even a winter wedding can be beautiful and cozy with the right accessories.
Meadows at Mossy Creek
Unlike some of the classically Southern and European-style venues on this list, this luxury wedding venue in Atlanta is a mix of modern and farmhouse aesthetics.The renovated barn has vaulted ceilings and is all white with black accents. Towering windows brighten the space, giving it a light and airy feeling.
For couples who want an outdoor wedding, there are plenty of options. The property overlooks green meadows and has a breathtaking mountain view. Long tables covered in flowers make receptions lush and festive. Weddings under the big open sky and amid the fresh decor feel truly celebratory.
